Many of you are kicking off your December Daily scrapbooking projects today! My friend Ali has been leading this project for many years now, and I’ve been joining in since 2011. I was feeling a bit behind as I had not even opened the box until yesterday but with a fun idea I copied from my friend Kristina Werner (see video in this post!), I knew I had a simple idea for a title page, and that would get the ball rolling.
Last year, I also took one of Kristina’s ideas from her amazing Holiday Card Series for my title page and this year is no different. Check out this SUPER cute and do-able video to see how to create a simple watercolor tree. Kristina is truly amazing (check out her Instagram) and there are SO many ideas you can take from card making to use in scrapbooking!
I designed a very simple 3 x 8 title page last year and just updated it for 2019. This year I printed it out onto some 8.5 x 11 Tim Holtz Watercolor Cardstock (on the smooth side!), and I thought if anyone out there wanted to have the download, I’d share it here:
Paper trimmer instructions are included on the sheet (and they are a tiny bit different than what you see in the preview! as I had to changed them to make sure the tree graphic didn’t get cut off!)
YOU CAN STILL JOIN IN WITH ALI AND DECEMBER DAILY! The 3 x 8 album is still available, as well as the Main Kit, both of which I will be using to document my month. Start documenting today and before you know it, your kit and album will arrive and you can add your photos and stories!
I tend to keep it very simple but I am always happy with the end result. Last year was the first year I did a 3 x 8 and that is what made me fall in love with the size.

It’s not to late to order some products and get started! Check back here as I’ll be sharing some of my pages throughout the month.
