Rainbow Stamping (plus it’s new release day at Simon Says Stamp!)

Cathy ZielskeCards, Tutorials8 Comments

Today I’ve got a card project to remind my long distance bestie(s) that really… it’s not that far and all we need to do is to connect the hearts, so to speak! It’s all part of the brand new Hey Bestie release from Simon Says Stamp!

I’ve got a slew of new adds to my CZ Design collection, beginning with Miss You Missy, a big old 6 x 8 stamp set designed to celebrate those people you love who don’t live right next door:

This stamp set was inspired by a postcard one of my besties sent me years ago. The tiny Xs, hearts or stars? They can be used to stamp your location on the map, and the location of your long-distance person, and then you can use the dashed line to connect the dots!

There are also coordinating dies available, that cut out a bunch of the stamps:

You can also get these stamps and dies in a combo set here.

Do you like to see when people have an idea and realize it’s not quite going to work? Yes? Well then you’ll like this video! I start out with a great idea, but change course halfway through. I don’t always know how something will turn out, and thought I’d share the process today!

Here are all of my other new releases:

Like You words is a sweet little 3 x 4 set is designed to remind someone how much  you like them, or would like to be like them. I know love is a thing, but liking people? That’s a thing, too!

I also have a Like You word and shadow die set, and the shadow on this set will also cut out the stamped “like you” on Like You words.

(The Rainbow Heart die is from our last release, Love You More!)

And while we’re on word and shadow dies, I added one more to my collection, Miss You word and shadow:

I’ll have a video on this coming tomorrow! It includes the new Peony Stencil and my newest Reverse Sentiment Strips:

I am really loving these Reverse Strips! If you have trouble heat embossing tiny sentiments on black cardstock, these can be a great alternative for adding smaller sentiments to your projects!

Next up: my Nested Tag dies. I have been wanting to design my own set of tags and this set also features different designs for the hole reinforcements, which is think is really fun!

And last but not least, a Big Ampersand word and shadow die for you type lovers!

Check out the entire Hey Bestie release today!

Hey Cathy, I’m a long time fan and user of your products and I just have to say that you hit it out of the park with this release! I am fervently adding to cart as we speak! I’m super in love with Miss you Missy but I live in Canada and I don’t think I’d get any use out of that USA map. Wish there was one for Canada that we could buy as an add-on to the stamp set. Hint hint. 😀

Hey Teresa! Yes, I’ve had a few requests so I’ll see what I can add to the next release!

Love the stamp set you designed and thanks for leaving in your mistake as at least we now know how to fix it. I make those mistakes all the time and then don’t exactly know where to go from there.

“Miss You Missy” is genius! I love the clever sentiments. The “landmass” one really speaks to me. All my friends live at least a state away, so I could get a lot of use out of the set.
