I started designing products for Simon Says Stamp back in 2017. One of the first sets I ever created was called Happy Hour.
Someone DM’d me on Instagram a few days again, saying “This stamp is giving me life today!” and I looked at her photo and it was the “Wanna Skype for Happy Hour?” sentiment. I guess no one could have guessed how prescient this sentiment would be in the modern era of life in this pandemic.
One of my goals right now is to acknowledge what is happening across the globe, but also to try and post positive messages on all of my various online platforms. I thought that a bright, cheery, clean and simple card would be a good thing to create over the weekend, and so I did. And I filmed the process, too. It really doesn’t get more simple than this design. Here is the video showing you how I created the project. Note: for some reason, I wasn’t filming the stamping of the very first image, but I think you’ll get the gist.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I would love to know in the comments if you’ve done a virtual happy hour yet with friends and family. We have done two. I’m not really drinking right now, so I made sure to have a cold lime La Croix in hand and it’s been great to see the faces of the people we love.
Hang in there friends!

Fabulous card and excellent sentiment considering the time we are in. I haven’t done virtual happy hour, but did virtual craft with my bestie.
