I’m so happy to be part of a brand new release today from Simon Says Stamp! Our Sunny Days Ahead release will begin shipping today, as Simon has been approved to resume shipping operations.
I’m sharing two graduation-themed cards today, featuring some of my brand new additions to the CZ Design stamp and die collection.
Graduation season for 2020 is going to a bit different this year and my heart goes out to all families with either high school or college seniors or other graduates who won’t have the same experience as they might otherwise have had.
There are two graduates in my extended family who I had in mind when I created these two cards. I know we will celebrate our grads in the best way we can and cards are always appropriate, even if they can’t be hand-delivered. Here is my video showing you how I created them:
Thanks so much for stopping by and my deepest thanks to the team at Simon Says Stamp! They are taking extra precautions as they resume shipping. I also want to thank any of you who have made purchases during the past month. You are helping to support a small business, both mine and Simon Says Stamp. We are so grateful for you.
Onto the rest of my new releases…
First up, featured in today’s post, Grad Party stamps and dies.
You can also purchase them as a Grad Party Stamps & Dies combo set.
Next up, a 6 x 6 Grad Cap Stencil, which I thought would be a fun way to add some color or glitz to any grad card project:
Next up, a series of word/shadow dies.
The Grad Cap die cuts out the cap and the shadow layer and it measures about 2.3 inches wide with the shadow layer.
Next up, the Grad Word/Shadow die. This die measures 2.3 inches wide with the shadow layer.
Next we have the Congrats Word/Shadow die. This die measures just under 4 inches with with the shadow.
Now onto something a bit new… XL series dies! This is the Congrats XL word/shadow die. It is much bigger! It is 4.7 inches wide by about 2.3 inches tall. It’s meant to fill up the front of an A2 card in a more dominant way.
With Mother’s Day around the corner, I designed a Mum Word/Shadow for all of you who use that term for your mamas.
And that wraps up my new CZ Design releases.

Lovely stamp and die set. I definitely need this one. My daughter is a high school senior this year. I am so very proud of her and her friends. They’ve taken this situation in their stride and are finding ways to help others. Thank you for designing this.

I always love your work. I love your clean lines. Is that the same font as Archie? Based on Archie I am going to get a die cutting machine and the Archie dies for my birthday (not until September though.

Great release, Cathy! I love the soft colors on the grad cards. I have always felt like I “had” to use school colors. I like this look so much more!
