Today I’ve got a really cheerful card project that would be perfect to send you your favorite grad, or anyone you are proud of!
This card was inspired by the Grand Greenery die from My Favorite Things.
This technique is so easy! Just grab some Distress Inks in rainbow colors, a water brush, and create some swatches to die cut from.
I also added a little texture to the card panel with some dry embossing. Check out my tutorial below:
Thank so much for stopping by!

Cathy Zielske says
Hey Debby! Thanks… but, what podcast? lol. I don’t have one but now I’m curious as to who you are listening to and should I be, too?
Melanie Arrowood says
Do you find when using the thicker foam tape that you need extra postage?
Love the rainbow and I literally just got my MFT greenery dies in the mail!
Cathy Zielske says
Hey Melanie, yep. I add the extra postage because I just want to make sure there are no questions. But yes, it needs it. I think.

Love this card! When I saw the title, I had to click because I thought you were making a card for someone named Laurel and I always like to hear about other people with my name. 😀 Then I realized what you meant. LOL!
Cathy Zielske says
Lol! I had to double check if “laurels” was what I was trying to create!
