If you are a relatively new card maker, I have a tip for you to help you when it comes to figuring out how to design something that is almost foolproof: panel dies!
The Rainbow Fresh Panel die from Waffle Flower Crafts basically sets up your design and all you have to do is stamp a sentiment and fill it in with cardstock or other colorful papers.
Or glitter paper. Because it’s awesome.
This is such a good beginner card project. No fancy techniques needed! Here’s a video showing you how I created this project:
You can purchase the die and the coordinating stamps as a combo set, too. Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Love that panel die. Good tips there. For adhering have you heard of “Sticky Specs”? You can get them at Amazon and Paper Wishes. They’re great. I can’t take the smell of that aerosol glue.

I love your cards. They look fantastic.

I have not heard of that! I’ll have to check it out. I also have a non aerosol glue called, I think, E-6000? I always forget it works really well and has NO smell! and not spray residue!

Thanks, Sheri!

That is a fabulous card, and I love the die! wow. I have a quick kutz revolution from the old days and am wondering if it would fit in the die cutter of mine? it says 4.25 and my QK only cuts four inches exactly.
Cathy Zielske says
Good question. I actually had a Revolution YEARS ago, and from what I’ve seen (Just did a quick Google search for compatibility), I’m not sure.
DO you have other wafer thing dies?
But if you’re only 4 inches, I don’t think this would work, because the cut is 4.25 inches wide and there is like a 1/16 edge on the die itself.
Donna Currie says
I have used the thin dies and they do work well, but the plate itself only has 4 inches. so I guess the panel dies are not for me! so sad 🙁
