Ruth Clay says
I love your style. I enjoy the fact that you are low key and give us permission to explore even if that means making bloopers. It’s ok to experiment and learn that differences can be good. Not wrong. All your cards were beautiful, but showing the different placement of the greeting made sense. I would not have thought it would draw the picture together.
Sharleen Burnett says
Your video encourages me to try water coloring.

Oh my goodness! These bunnies are just so gorgeous. and the thing I love is that you already have a scene set without any other masking and stamping. Fabulous!!
Cindi Johnson says
I love your cards and all the new stamps! I must disagree about the placement of the sentiment. When it is down that low, there is too much white space and emptiness at the top of the card.
Julie Weber says
Macaroons and bunnies, it doesn’t get any better than that. Beautiful cards.
Nessa Bridge says
You’ve inspired me to go play with my water colours again. Not done so for a long time. Thank ou. Love your style and always make me smile.

Your painting is beautiful. I’ve been trying but find it very difficult. The cards turned out great even without Photoshopping the sentiment.
Del Skinner says
Love what you did with the Macarons! And Your painting of the bunnies came out so wonderful! Just one question… Why move your sentiment? To my eye, and of course I know that is why you get paid the big bucks, (LOL 🤣), the sentiment could have been moved up just a touch. Not down. Definitely not in their faces.
Kelley Andersen says
Absolutely love love Love this new release! Your make it look so easy! Love watching your videos!!
Patti Chrouch says
Cathy, all of these new stamps are so cute and make me feel happy. You looked especially good in this video love the nail color! Macaroons are the coconut cookies. These are the French macarons.

Angela Brennan says
Hi Cathy, my favourite stamp in this release is the pile of macarons. I love those little gems made of ground almonds so much that I learned to make them to perfection…waiting crinkly feet to form and all. I can see myself use twinkling H2Os to paint them to give a shimmer….ooh can’t wait. Love your videos and sense of humour…keep them coming
Deb Shaw says
Cathy,
Loved the stamp sets very much. I did agree, once it was demonstrated about sentiment placement! Amazing how it changed how you see it! I always enjoy your channel and have learned a lot from you!
I had ordered your Just Because and Friend dies and I love them! Use them a lot. Going to get a few more also! It’s so perfect that I’m sure no one notices mistakes/accidents!
I too have a sailor mouth and so do my kids! You should hear my mom swear! When my brother takes her out in public , he asks her to keep it under control…lmao! I know it’s nothing to be proud of, but if I hadn’t been raised 5hat way, my feelings would have been hurt many times in the field I worked in.
I’m a retired nurse (1 year) and worked in male prison for last 15 years. Had an inmate who would yell at me every day to suck his dick. Took it for many weeks and one day, I had had enough. As he yelled at me, I stopped turned around and said ” How about you suck mine, I’m always sucking yours”. The block busted out in laughter and never had a problem with him after that! Ha! Just a bit of sharing fir the day.
Again, thank you for giving so much
Deb
Beverly Rowan says

I really love the Anita Jeram stamps from CCC. You nailed the description. They are both whimsical and charming. So dear! I would love to win either the AJ group or the B&B group. I will probably end up buying most of these anyhow in time. I left you a comment at the YT site below your video.
I hope you keep making videos. You’re so good at helping us crafters out here in the world to know how you make your design choices and we learn about color and placement from you.
Thanks and have a great day!

Hello Kathy! Thank you for sharing your talent. I just adore the bunny card.
Jean Bronk says
Hello from Faribault. What an honor to be doing this reveal. I love the Anita Jeram illustrations. You were great in your recent live, although I watched the replay. Love your authenticity and grit to share frustrations with technology. I’m in the country with limited bandwidth and get unceremoniously dumped from zoom all the time. Keep those videos coming, I watch them all.
Sheila H says
I loved the video, Kathy. I am so afraid of water coloring, but you gave me some encouragement. I will need better brushes for sure. Great lesson on sentiment placement also. Thanks so much!
Tricia says
Love the explaination of where to place your sentiment, it really does make things come together nicely. Thanks.
Sharlini Nambiar says
Hi Cathy! Thank you for your latest clip. I absolutely love Anita Jeram’s artwork and your painting brings them to life. It’s very difficult to get her stamps here in Malaysia due to high shipping costs, so I just watch vids of people making cards with them. I don’t know if I am eligible for the giveaway, so if I am not, thank you for sharing your cards and the tip about sentiment placement.
Nancy Roth says
I love both cards! The bunnies are adorable. According to Master Chef, the main difference between macaroons and macarons are the main ingredient. Coconut vs. almond meal. Just FYI.
Nancy Pratt says
I love watching your videos. They are educational in a fun way. Your great keep it up.
Cathy Morris says
Ooo Cathy! Those macarones look yummy. Your watercoloring is lovely. Your Happy Easter Card is so sweet! Thank you for always teaching me/us so much!
Cheri says
You are so right about the distress inks being perfect for this type of stamp. I would have been tempted to use markers and that would have been too dark and solid. I have to remember to keep the colours simple. One ink for all bunnies and the basket was perfect! Thanks for sharing!
Jennie says
You inspire me to try painting. I love the look of watercolor but am intimidated. Love the stamp sets and hard to choose which to purchase.
Marlene Sundheimer says
Hi Cathy. Thanks for the card design tips re placement of sentiments. I have come a long way in my card-making designs and have had so much joy from creating simple, well-designed cards. BTW, thanks also for introducing me to ASMR. Learn something new everyday.
Take Care!
Denise Valdinocci says
Well I wrote a whole post and got involved in signing up for the newsletter I don’t think I posted my comment 🤦🏻♀️ I never thought about water painting with distress inks but I’ll sure try it soon. The cards as always were great and the placement of the sentiment strip is so helpful. I think we card makers have it
Drilled into us to stamp everything first, in case you mess up, we just don’t look at the reasons we shouldn’t. Thanks as always for sharing your talents with us.
Rose Lyman says
Please enter my name for the Colorado Stamp giveaway. Thanks to you Cathy for your inspirational video and the new tip you educated me with…using distress inks to water colour.

Hello Cathy,
I love how your cards turned out!
And I would be glad to win, because February, the 8th is my birthday (actually I’m getting 50 then).
But I’m not sure if you will send the stamps to Germany…..
However, keep it up! I especially like your sense of humor.
Best wishes from Germany,
Ute
Barbara Drake says
I loved your video, well actually I LOVE all your videos if I’m being honest! I especially liked the Easter card and never gave it a thought about sentiment placement, but I’m so glad you showed all 3 cards and how the last one just seemed to “fit” perfect! In one of your previous videos when you were using the “Debby” tool, I took advantage of your link and purchased one, and I’m so excited to get it. I’m getting to that age where I’m not as strong as I used to be, so this girl has gotta do, whatcha gotta do !!
Lynne Lugo says

I started out on my card journey about 3 years ago and didn’t know distress inks existed until a year later. I am now trying to do what you are doing with distress inks! I liked your painting of the bunnies; I never heard of the Colorado Card Co. before. There stamps are very sweet! Thank you Cathy.

Jane Daniels says
Oh my goodness! I am rushing to dust off my mini Distress Ink cubes and fetch a glass of water and a brush. I had totally forgotten about painting with inks and watching your video reminded me of the lovely soft, under-coloured look you can get with them. Unfortunately I have none of these charming stamps to colour in, so I will have to search through my stash, but I do love that “Beatrix Potter” style of illustration – so innocent and nostalgic. Great job Cathy!
Judy Jones says
I love every new release! Talk about heart tug stamps….WOW. Thank you Colorado Craft Company for Anita Jeram!
Darlene says
Cathy
Your work inspires me to try new things every time I watch you. Both cards came out amazing. I have never watercolored a card before. Now I can’t wait to give it ago. Thank you for all you do

I learn so many helpful design techniques from you! I didn’t see what was wrong w/ the sentiment on the bunny card until you showed the other choices. Will the lessons stick? Who knows? Luckily, I can go back & re-watch your videos!

Hey Cathy,
Coming to you from my sofa, slash, couch! One cool comment coming up….NEXT, from a midde-aged crafter in England!
I really enjoy your videos. They are organic, authentically you, and you’ve taught me more about design than I learned in my 3 years on a Graphic Deisgn course! So, thank you! My 8 year old daughter Grace is a huge fan of your videos and often pretends she is you with her very own YouTube channel! She would love to be in for a chance to win some of the bunny stamps.
Crafty hugs

Roxanne Tellini says
Good Morning! Cute, cute sets. Something I am missing from my stash is something for a “new baby” card. That family of bunnies gathered around the itty bitty is a great image. As for the the Big and Bold sets, I want to make a birthday card that says It’s Serbert Day? In-Cone-Ceiveable! (My best friend is a big Princess Bride fan). That waffle cone is Perfect!
Thanks for sharing your talent with us. 🙂
Mary Gilmer says
I love what you did with the Anita Jeram bunnys image. I would always put a sentiment in your first placement. Now, I know why it would be better to wait and place the sentiment later. And you made cards out of my two favorite stamps of the new Colorado Craft Company stamp release. I can’t wait to get some of them!

Cathy these cards turned out amazing!! I love the soft colors you achieved with the distress inks! These stamps are so beautiful! I’d love to win them amd try them out! 😊 Thank you so much for sharing and inspiring so many of us!!!
Cheryl McCann says
I love both cards but the Easter one is my favorite. I so love Anita Jeram’s artwork! I was a reading specialist and first encountered her work in the book Guess How Much I Love You. I had forgotten that she illustrated for stamps. The whimsical illustrations are soooo nostalgic. I’m so excited to try some of them. Loved how you watercolored with Distress Ink. I’m ordering the brushes you linked because I must try this!
Bonnie Isabelle says
Loved the video, (love all your videos)
The cards are so cute!
Thank you for introducing me to the Colorado Craft Company, I’m heading there to check them out as soon as I’m done here.
Thanks again!!
Barb Legassie says
Cathy, what an adorable card. Loved the soft Spring colours.
Star Picard says
Hi Cathy, love your YouTube channel and all your videos. The simplicity of you cards give me the confidence a beginner like me needs. Love the bunnies from Colorado Craft Company. In Canada we do not have access to many products from the US and the duty plus shipping makes most unaffordable. Thank you for all the Inspiration.
Rebecca N says
Oh my goodness 💕 Cathy you do an amazing job! I love watching your videos!! These bunnies remind me of “Guess How Much I Love You” book and fabric line (which my granddaughters love also). Thank you for ALL your inspiration and entertainment!
Rosamund Shellis says
Love your water coloured bunnies, ages since I used my distress inks to water colour but such a lovely, soft effect! Note to self – Use inks more!
Nora Nikolai says
Cathy, I love to watch your video’s. I learn so much. The color wheels and working with color has been most helpful. Also your sense of humor makes my day. Thank you!
Anya Toledo says
I just love all your videos! You are a fun, talented designer & card maker. I appreciate how real you are & that you show your “mistakes” so that we can learn from them. So nice to see someone who is transparent. I adore Anita Jeram’s artwork & use her stamp sets w/the little girls I nanny for. These new ones are just fabulous! Thanks again for your generosity!
Janice Harrison says
So so cute Cathy! I am intimidated by water color painting. I love to watch Kristina watercolor…she is a master.
But no offense, watching you watercolor is more inspiring. 😏 Not like “if Cathy can do it anyone can” but I just relate to you more personally.
I craft on my kitchen table (but we have decided to turn a spare bedroom into a craft room 🎉🎉🎉), I am middle age (what ages does that span anyway???I don’t plan on leaving it any time soon!), and a Midwesterner (spell check says that’s not a word🤔—MN is sorta Midwestern right??)
Anyway I feel like I am sitting across the kitchen table from you when I watch you craft….you make me feel that comfortable.
Thanks!
Oh, and I would love to win those stamps!😁
Marita Kasley says
Very cute cards Cathy! Will have to look into this company because this was the first time I have heard from them. Wondering if you could use colored pencils and Gamsol to get the same effect as using the Distress inks.
Linda S. says
Thanks for the video. I really enjoy your laid back approach to crafting. Your bunnies are adorable.
Christine Gehlbach says
You made the painting look so easy and the cards turned out so cute! Thanks for the inspiration and instruction.

Thanks
Maria
Cheri says
Cathy – what a wonderful Reveal from Colorado Craft Co! I love all five sets! Look fun to color, & love that they can be used for a variety of occasions (except the Easter egg set). It’s always enjoyable to watch your videos! Oh….. macaroons (with two O’s) are coconut cookies that most often have a maraschino cherry on top. If you like coconut, you LOVE macaroons! Macarons (with one O) look kind of like small hamburgers – like the ones in the stamp set. Delicious, either way!
Anne G says
I love both cards! I think the macaron. card will be perfect for my twin grandkids birthday cards. It’s their favorite cookie!
Your videos are so real. I learn so much from you! Say warm!

Since the moment I first saw Anita Jeram stamps I fell in love. I feel about the same about you and your videos, I love the fact that you show your mistakes and show us all how to fix them. You do make me feel like it is doable to try anything. I love the feeling your video’s give me a vibe that we are sitting across from each other and just crafting. Thank you.
Judy Rutherford says
Cathy, I love watching your videos. You make me want to do more things that are “outside my comfort zone” because you say you’re not always comfortable – yet you do it and it looks great. The painting of the bunny scene was so good! I have purchased water color paints (and have yet to use them) because it scares me! I have distress inks and now I AM going to try this method. Thanks for making me a bit for confident! Best to you!
LeDonna MaCurdy says
I would LOVE these wonderful stamps!
Karen Rhoads says

Hi Cathy! I enjoy watching your videos while I have my coffee in the mornings. I am new to card making and get so much inspiration from you. I wouldn’t consider myself artistic, but I am enjoying having something to do while we are locked down here in Canada. In November my first grandchild was born, a beautiful little girl named Roz (Rosalind). When I see the Anita Jerman stamps I think of all of the cards I can make for her in the future. I do have a couple of Anitas stamps on order from SimonSaysStamps, however they haven’t arrived yet. I love ordering from them although it takes about a month to get to Canada! Ha ha I would love a chance to win some of these cute little bunnies to make Roz some cards. I am hoping to purchase the story books as well so that she may recognize the characters during story time! Sending much love. Stay safe!
Alice Stoner

Patti Brigman says
Cathy, I’m so glad you showed what to do about the grass on the bunny picture. I was not sure if I should just put my picture closer to the bottom of the paper so that the creatures were not floating in the air, or just to color those sprigs of grass that were showing. Now I know I can go beyond the grass that is drawn in and my picture doesn’t have to be at the bottom of my panel. I love watching your videos.
Brenda C says
Wow, huge difference in the look of the card when you moved the sentiment. Thank you for that tip! Loving these illustrations. Thank you!

What a treat to watch you create two gorgeous cards today. They were so different but as ever the completed cards were very you! I loved your watercolour technique with the distress ink, I don’t know why you worry about painting those bunnies looked great. And you used a ‘red’ in the macaron stack, the black card was a very classic finish.
P.S. I was hoping you’d use ‘Sprout’ to mount the bunnies as I love the name 😎

Cards…stamps…SO CUTE!! I love them all!! As to the sentiment….I actually like the 2nd one because for some reason it seems to make the imagery jump out even more. Thanks, as always, Cathy, I just love what you do and it always inspires me!

Karyn Allen says
Darling stamp sets! Would love to win either set.
Thanks for the opportunity.
Georgann S says
I’ve been very successful painting with my distress inks. The reason I don’t wait and stamp the sentiment last is because of big boo-boos, even with a stamping platform. The gestalt lesson was very informative. Love listening to you as you work! Thanks for all you do!

Sandy S. says
Cathy-you and Colorado Craft Company have done it again-designs that will appeal to young and old alike. You have given me confidence that I can create beautiful cards with your design and coloring tips. The new stamps are so appropriate for events coming up in anyone’s families. My daughter is a baker who appreciates the cards I make and often requests cards from me. The new ones with the macarons and other tasty treats will certainly be on her request list to give to her fellow bakers for birthday and thank you cards. Since she is expecting a baby in May, a card made with the “New Baby” set would almost certainly be one to add to a Keepsake album for her little one.
Suzanne Hue says
Great video 😍! Thanks for tips and tricks. I really want to try water coloring and I love how you did it with Distress inks. Sometimes I forget they can be used that way. Lol
Laurie G says

Thank you for sharing your talent with your videos.
