Today I’m sharing a new video tour of the Craft/Dining Room.

I have been crafting in this room since I discovered scrapbooking back in 2003.

Over the years, I’ve added pieces, rearranged things, and more or less turned my dining room into my craft room.

Fortunately, we have a kitchen with a table, so eating can continue in the Zielske household!

I had two custom pieces built in 2006 to help me organize my space. At the time, it was really just geared towards paper storage but once I started making cards in 2017, I tweaked how I used all of it, which you’ll see in the video.
Here is the video tour, which is about 30 minutes long:
I wanted to share some measurements for the cabinets. While the maker who created mine is no longer doing that type of work, I would encourage you to look for local makers in your area who can help you with pieces for your own unique corners of your house!
The smaller cabinet measures about 44 inches wide by 39 inches tall, and is divided into three columns. Those shelves were designed to hold 12 x 12 papers originally.

The tall cabinet was built to fill the nook and the paper inserts are 37 inches wide by 17 inches tall. What’s great is if I ever have to move, the inserts come out and can work in other spaces.

Here are the all of the supplies I can source from the tour. Many of the links are affiliate links and when you shop with my links, I receive a small compensation. I always appreciate the support!

Love watching your videos (usually while folding laundry or something 😛), your spirit is so fun & contagious. Couldn’t help but laugh at you “taking over” family space little at a time 😅. My husband built me some sliding drawers for stamps/ dies – serious game changer not having to lug out the heavy clear bins anymore! Thanks for sharing your space, take care!

Nicely done & written my friend.
I began writing in the past few weeks and have seen that loot of articles merely rework old
ideas but add very little of value. It’s terrific tto see a
helpful write-up of some genuine value to myselff and your other followers.
It is going onn the list of things I need to replicate being a new blogger.
Reader engagement annd content quality are king.
Many wonderful thoughts; you’ve certainly managed to get on my list
of wriuters to watch!
Carry on the terrific work!
Congratulations,
Dallas
