Cathy, cute cards, sorry about your daughter’s graduation. I remember my law school graduation — and my mother’s (she was 60 when she graduated, we had a couple of the same professors and one used to love telling people he taught both of us to everyone’s amazement because he clearly was not old enough to have taught us in the “normal” chronological order). Anyway, we went to Georgetown and this year Georgetown has coordinated with the Nationals to use the baseball stadium so they can have an in person graduation — there will be one for undergraduates and a second for all the graduate schools. Each graduate gets 2 tickets. They may have had to get a special waiver from the D.C. government too, I’m not sure, but they’re doing an in person graduation. I also wanted to say that I can definitely see using this stamp set for graduations one misses for whatever reason. As a new grandparent I immediately thought the lion in the computer was perfect for a kindergarten graduation card from a grandparent who is too distant to visit in person! So the virtual is also still going to be relevant! I think this year has made everyone much more virtually present — we’ve already face timed with our grandson and he’s only 9 months old! So while elbow bumps may be specific to this year (think scrapbooking btw), and the masks (and references thereto) may not translate much later on, the rest of the stamp set is fully functional! 🙂 Grandmas/pas of the world salute you for giving us a stamp set we’ll be able to use for all those special graduations we have to miss because they aren’t the “big” graduations!
