Today features a cardmaking first for me: a 3D card project! And it’s all thanks to a cleverly designed die set!

It’s Day 1 of the Rainbows blog hop for Simon Says Stamp and this 3D Card Die set is just too freaking cool! Never thought I’d make a pop up card, but then again, never thought I’d be a card maker.

    Very funny. I had other ideas for that adorable little pop-up box…like maybe a pretty little watercolored flower or a cute image for a child. But combined with those messages….perfect….such a fun way to use it.

    I LOVE these sentiments Cathy! Especially the display one. I have a friend who actually told she didn’t get making cards, it took too much time and too much money for no return. But I sent her a home made card anyway and guess what! She liked it! She said it was totally worth it and she wants another one! That “snarky” sentiment is going on every single card I send her now! 🙂

    Great post! I love the idea of incorporating 3D elements into cardmaking, and this 3D Card Die set looks like a lot of fun to work with.
