Tim Holtz released a brand new Distress Ink color called Villainous Potion, and I had a little play in the craft/dining room to test it out!

While I did get all of the products in advance, you know I like to start simply, and so I grabbed the Distress Oxide pad and got started!

Here is my video of how the card came to be, mistakes and all. (And yep, there are a few!)
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Awesome card. The new color is gorgeous. I love the night sky you created. I’m usually not a fan of spatter, but it totally works to give a starry night effect. The clouds turned out great. I appreciate how you leave your boo-boos in the video and show us how to fix them. Thanks for all your inspiration.

Cathy: For future celestial scenes, clouds will NEVER appear behind the sun or moon. Enjoyed the process, though.

I love your cards! I would have die cut another “shoot for the stars” from the middle of the silver layer. Then you have another die cut to use and no one knows you die cut from the layer and you aren’t wasting paper. Just an idea

Can’t get enough of this, Cathy! One of my all-time favorite designs from you, and I just re-watched it again this morning. Off to get inky and try to see if I can get something half as AMAZING as this myself!
God bless!
