You know how sometimes you create something and you step back from your work space and say, “NAILED IT!”?
Today’s card was that moment for me. And then I sent it off to my Mama for her birthday.

I really love this card and I have a video to share for how I created it!
I had a few folks ask on YouTube why did I crop down such a great image. My answer is simple: I simply LOVE the look of a cropped image. It adds instant visual tension and drama to any space. But the good kind of drama. It also makes the wreath feel even larger as our minds like to envision how it would extend out of the space.
Cropping is such a wonderful way to punch up an already pretty design!

Pretty card. I love this stencil, also and have made cards already with it. Great find for Fall cards.

I think cropping down the image was brilliant. I recently made a similar card using both the same stencil and die. Because I used the entire image, I had to create my own card base, which made it larger than any envelopes that I have. I will definitely do what you did for the next one. Thank you for the inspiration. It’s lovely.
