I have had my eye on metallic watercolors for a while and lucky me, a friend gifted me a slew of paints from Iuile Watercolors.

These hand-crafted paints are really quite lovely! And though they are not cheap, you can also purchase small dot cards just to test them out:

While I am not exactly a watercolor master, I am SO happy with my first attempt at playing with my new colors!

The photo does not do justice to the gorgeous shine! Here is my video showing you how I created this card!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

The colors are absolutely beautiful! I bought a dot card a few month ago and wasn’t sure how to get started, thanks for explaining the process. I’m looking forward to a video with one of the dot cards.

I think black is usually underrated! You have proven that: you made an amazing art. Very beautiful.

These watercolor paints are beautiful!! I love the shimmer on the black paper. I lucked out months ago and found an inexpensive shimmer watercolor palette at Tuesday Morning. (I mean, like $4.99.. so super cheap.) But I’d prefer to have a small tin palette of shimmers so that they stack along with my other small tins. My brain likes matching sizes.

I enjoyed this project so much. I got so excited when you started flicking the colors and was happy you used the panel in the final project. I have other creators use her colors but had no idea about the dot cards – thank you for sharing that information. I will go explore and see what needs to come and live with me.

This is stunning and, you’re right, like a galaxy! Thanks for the inspiration!
Do you know how you damaged the tip of your Teflon bone folder? They are quite an investment, so I don’t want to damage mine accidentally!
