Stumped for color? Pick one family and go monochromatic with it! It’s a win-win scheme.

February 18, 2022

Stumped for color? Pick one family and go monochromatic with it! It’s a win-win scheme.

If there’s an easier way to pick color than going with a monochromatic scheme, I have yet to find it! Monochrome designs are easy, and soothing to the eye.

Today I used a brand new trio of Pawsitively Saturated Inks from Simon Says Stamp!

Trio 13 is full of ocean-y tones and aqua green goodness! Here is the video showing you how I created this fun (and easy!) monochromatic card:

Try a monochromatic card today and you’ll see how easy it is to do! Now, onto the blog hop!

Simon Says Stamp is giving away a free 3 x 4 Birthday Cupcake stamp set free with ANY purchase while supplies last. Don’t forget to use the code at checkout YUM20.

BLOG HOP:

Here are the participants in today’s hop! Simon is giving away a $25 coupon to every stop on the hop from your blog comment section. Winners will be posted on the Simon Says Stamp blog on Wednesday, the 23rd of February.

In a bit of a hurry finishing my card right before I needed to take it to church to give to it to the recipient I thought hey it needs ….Speckles, that’s what this needs. Grabbed my fan brush, loaded it with dark blue ink dowsed with water. Put out my finger and brought the brush UP under my finger hard and speckled my face. You are right that brush does cover well. Hope it works as well on cardstock. Ha ha tee hee. Thanks CZ! 🖌🤦‍♀️💞hugs. Love the circles background WITH the speckles.
