I received an early treat in the mail a few days ago from Tim Holtz: the Tonic Media Grip Mat, just released today!

This cool silicon mat is all about GRIPPING, crafty friends. And you can cut it up to create specific grip surfaces for different projects. In my video today, I’m just using it in one big piece for now! But wait until you see how terrific it is for holding your paper in place AND your ink pads!

Here is my video showing you the mat and this simple shaker card:
Tim Holtz also showed a very cool way to store your Media Grip using Cardstock Sleeves from Simon Says Stamp. You simply trim off each side of the sleeve to create a flip open flat storage. Simon Says Stamp is even offering them as a bundle:

Very nice card and great ink blending. I liked the mat. You didn’t show or I missed when you pulled your cardstock up off it. Think if cut would go great in the Misti to hold the cardstock in place. I tried one from the Cricut but it was was too sticky and could hardly get the cardstock off it. Let me know how easy or hard it is to remove your cardstock from this mat? Thank you.
