The stamp set I received from Gina was a sample set, trying out a different wash process (how they make the clear stamps) and it had more of a coating than usual. The stamps you purchase from Gina K. will NOT have this issue. But still, priming makes a difference on those stamps that don’t seem to be giving you the results you are looking for!
Here is my tutorial showing you how I created the card:

I loved the card. Some very good tips about using new stamps and how to get them to stamp correctly. Also, loved that you made your own envelope. I forgot I had one of those tools and will certainly get it out. Thank you so much.

Thank you so much for sharing what to with a stamp that was not stamping right. I was about to reach out to the manufacturer. I’m going to prime it and be patient. Card was adorable.
