There are TWO releases tonight! The first STAMPtember® exclusive of the day is from the always charming Mama Elephant and is called Merry Greeters. These are going to sell out fast! Click on the images to snag yours:
I did not have the coordinating dies, so I decided to create my little scene with masking.

I stamped the images on Masking Magic with some black ink and cut them out. Then I stamped Santa and the snowman first, popped on the little masks, and then stamped my tree. I then put a mask on the tree, as well, so I could lightly ink blend around the top and a bit on the bottom, just to create some definittion. Then I removed the masks, stamped in the tiny greetings, colored in the images and added little bits of snow using my Gelly Roll pen.

I kept my coloring VERY simple. Notice how I used the same red in Santa’s suit and the berries in the snowman’s hat? And the same gray marker to add a bit of shadow to both Santa’s beard and the snowman? The yellow for the bird and the star? Yep, the same. I try to NOT overcomplicate my coloring choices!
I matted my scene on a 3D embossed panel, which I thought added a bit of fun, neutral texture.

Now onto card two featuring a really fun set from Picket Fence Studio called Trimming the Tree:

I did not have the coordinating dies so one little tip I have for you: if you are fussy cutting and leaving a white border, use a white card base because then no one notices if you’re not an expert fussy cutter! However, you can purchase the stamp/die combo:

What a fun set, right?
I created a fun base for my image using the Snowglobe Sprinkle Embossing Folder. I love how it creates the perfect little home for the image and greeting.

I also added a drop of Crystal Glaze on the ornament for dimension and shine.

I LOVE the two release days in STAMPtember! All supplies for this card are linked below:
