It’s time to unbox and play with the February 2023 card kit from Simon Says Stamp! Sweet Days is full of love, sweets and shine! And I’m sharing a close up look at the kit, plus five cards. Let’s go!
NOTE: the complete supply list can be found at the end of this post.
Here are some photos of the card projects. First up, Card One:

If you are new to coloring, you will get a Tri-Blend Brush Marker in this kit, and it really does take some of the guesswork out of the blending equation! I’m no expert, but I love how the lolly turned out!

Next up, Card Two:

I love the Fancy Love die (pun intended) and the Hearts and Stars Stencil. Plus, a monochromatic blend is the perfect way to highlight a gorgeous die cut.

I added a Sentiment Strip greeting from my stash to complete the look.
Next up, Card Three:

The Cozy Days 6×6 papers in the kit can give you SO many ways to make a simple design like this one. I used the Idea-ology Deco Sheets to add a bit of shimmer to the design.

Next up, this is probably my favorite card of the bunch!

Brightly colored donuts plus puns? Yes, please!

All that color from one pen? I love it! I need to give my current stash of TriBlend Markers more love!
And last but not least, this little cutie:

I did some simple masking to get that overlapped strawberry look and I love the simple shine on this. I used a piece of Schoolhouse red from my stash to create the notecard!
And that’s it for today!

You used a small hand grinder to take off stray embossing spots. What is it called and where can I get one, please.

Love how you used the hearts from the dies cuts to make another card, especially the shaker card.
