It’s kit unboxing day for the latest card kit from Simon Says Stamp!

Poppy Perfection is packed with one surprise after another. Here is my unboxing and card making video:
I feel like the cards I made are very different and challenged me in such a fun way! Here are more photos for you:

I love how the transparency casts a shadow on the white card base below.

Card two featured very simple coloring (and a bit of Gamsol inside an empty Copic marker!) but I think it turned out pretty well!

For card three, I used the packaging from the patterned paper:

So simple, but also easy to do. Don’t overlook the packaging sheets.

Card four just makes me happy. Any strip-style card is fun and so easy to do. The patterns on the papers are so gorgeous, and I just chose three to work with, plus the red cardstock from the kit. Also, making your own little envelopes is a cinch!

And last but not least, I had to make another card with the fun Tim Holtz transparencies.

I mean, how fun is that? Even with my less than perfect fussy cut greeting? (I would love to snag the dies for this stamp set for sure!)

Plus the gold confetti sequins from the kit are the perfect fill for this shaker card.
And that’s it!

Holy Cow! You went “rogue” making shaker cards, fussy cutting. Who are you and what did you do with “our” Kathy? Just kidding! I loved all your cards and what tremendous things you made with this kit. Thanks for sharing all your ideas and tips. And thanks for all you do!
