Simple painting with distress watercolor pencils and new stamps from Colorado Craft Company

There is a new release out today from Colorado Craft Company featuring more charming illustrations from artist Anita Jeram.

For today’s card project, I busted out the Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Pencils to paint this darling image. These pencils are so easy to use! You just need some water and a brush (or, be like me and just use a waterbrush!) and you’re good to go. Here is my tutorial showing you how I created the card:

    I am really liking this release but my favorite and now on my “must have list” is that Greener Grass. It needs to be in my stash. Every card that I have seen that it just adds so much. They are like doodles… but not like my doodles that look like scribbles.
