A card for your favorite sister (or at least one who keeps those secrets!) plus a blog hop!

Welcome to a blog hop for the new Beautiful Days release for Simon Says Stamp! Today, I’m using my new Sisters Forever stamps & dies to create this fun little card project. Plus, this Chunky Knit stencil adds just the right amount of cool texture to the background.

I was originally going with a pink cardstock greeting, but you’ll see in the video why I changed my mind:

    Love that Sisters Forever set! I have one sister and we’ve always been close. We’re now up in years (OK, we’re OLD). I recently moved far away (from Texas to Vermont!) and I miss her terribly — I would probably wear this stamp set out!

    Stenciling has become my new best friend when cardmaking. If I’m not feeling real creative, it still looks like I am when I use a few stencils. I love this one especially. Great card, Cathy.

    Great card. I love the soft background and am glad you chose to do the sentiment in black and white instead of pink and white. Speaking of sentiments, I love your new stamp set. I have 2 sisters and 4 sisters-in-law so this is perfect. I just hope you’ll do a similar one for brothers. With 5 brothers and 2 brothers-in-law I am always in need.
