The July Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp is out today! Flower Happy is packed with crafty goodness and I’m going to unbox it, and create five cards! Let’s get to it, shall we?
Let’s take a look at the cards a bit closer. First up, the one wherein I changed my mind at the very last minute on the greeting.

I just felt that a the Cream Cardstock was a better fit in the end. Just a nice tie in to the mat layer, but I love the bit of pink peeking out below.

Next, simple stamping. I really love the graphic look of these flowers and the simple design. And if you’re ever in doubt for color choices, monochromatic will never steer ya wrong. I love the Pink Blooms cube set from Simon for an easy way to keep it all in one color family!

The Tim Holtz Idea-ology Collage Strips formed the base for this simple design. I love that there are a rainbow assortment of panels to choose from.

For the next card, I revisited the embossing folder but this time did an inlaid panel into the gorgeous cardstock. I love how simple this design is, with just a bit of texture popping up from the greeting.
And last but not least, pattern stamping!

I think this is my favorite of the bunch! It’s groovy, and fun, and also very monochromatic. Again, you don’t need every color of ink to make a lovely stamped design.
