Today I’m sharing a card using my new CZ Design Winter Village die set.

This is such a petite little village, perfect for any card or other crafty idea! I used Simon Says Stamp Matte Gold Cardstock behind the windows for a warm glow.

    I really enjoy making scenes with little houses. So many possibilities when one uses different color combos-elegant cards with white houses or festive with various colors for the houses. Your set is perfect for both types.

    I’m so happy I ordered this village die set after seeing your card today! Love that night sky blend and the splatter is perfect. I like the gold star in the sky but knowing me, I would have put it off to the left instead of in the middle! (By the way, splatter and spatter both are correct and mean literally the same thing! I say, ‘splatter’ because Tim Holtz named his box the Splat Box and calls it ‘splatter’, so I’ve always said it that way too! LOL). Oh, I bounced over to YouTube and gave your video a big THUMBS UP!!

    I would have known who designed this set without the CZ on it. I love it. I was not going to purchase anything else Christmas after I bought the Tim Holtz Stamptember set and dies but I really really WANT this Winter Village. I have the Typewriter stamp/die so I should have the Winter Village, right? I mean that’s my story and I’m sticking to it for my excuse. I meant “reason”.

    Your night sky is just gorgeous, and you got the glow in the windows perfectly. I’ve seen other examples where the yellow was too bright/harsh.
