Creating some fun holiday cards with non-traditional holiday colors!

Welcome to Day 3 of a blog hop to celebrate the new release from Pretty Pink Posh! I’m sharing some cool, non-traditional colors for holiday cards! Plus, I made my second card using the Trees Cover Plate negative space as a stencil!

For the first card, I used Picket Fence Studios Paper Pouncers to add quick color, and for the second, blending brushes! Check out my tutorial here:

    Love how you used PINK for these…I love the non-traditional colors, and pink is one of my favorites. I also like how you utilized the cuts for the stencil….way to reuse something that might just be tossed.

    What a great 2 fer. I love both cards. You may have been able to get three cards if you made a stencil out of the stencil material that Jennifer McGuire uses to make her own stencils or maybe some acetate. A third card could then be made using that cover cardstock piece that cuts the trees. Just an idea that I had when I watched your video. Great cards, though, and I love the colors.

    Cathy, I love your tree card! It reminds me of a Christmas tree lot, so fun and colorful! It would be magical to have one of your trees light up. I am not talented enough to pull that off, with those Chibi-lights, lol.
