A peaceful scene created with a peace hot foil plate

It’s Blog Hop Day 1 for the Simon Says Stamp All the Joy Release. Today I’m sharing a peaceful card featuring my new Peace Hot Foil plate.

It looks different in the light, depending on the angle! Also? This foil plate coordinates with my original Peace word/shadow die set. The die for that set cuts out the Peace Hot Foil Plate.

I ink blended a pretty background, spattered it with snow and then added the Little Evergreen Trees die to serve as the home for my foiled Peace.

The result? A calming, simple card project! I apologize for not having a video. Long story short: turns out I filmed half of it with the camera not on. Some days… I tell ya!

    The cooler shades are different from the usual warmer reds/greens of holiday cards. I love cooler shades, I think it makes the card look so serene and peaceful. To me, Peace is the true message of Christmas.

    💕💕💕that little row of evergreens combined with the hot foiled PEACE. I will admit I’m not typically the clean and simple card maker. I mean I have my grandmothers Victorian furniture in my very formal little sitting room lol. But I adore the quietness of this whole design. Beautiful job Cathy!
