I have been making cards since 2017 and the thing that really got me hooked (aside from the magic of running metal wafer dies through a die cut machine) was cute little images. Here is one of my very first card videos to prove it:
Over the years, my use of alcohol markers has improved but I still keep it pretty much as simple as I did at the start. EVERY time I try to get fancy with coloring, it backfires.
And you now what? That’s okay! We are not all going to be Picassos with Copics! However, I do enjoy playing with the type of images I’m using for today’s card and I’ll share a few tips as I go. The coloring is simple. The rest of the card got a bit dicey, but we pulled it out in the end! Enjoy!
I hope this inspires you to keep your coloring simple!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
