The December 2023 Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp is called Making Spirits Bright and is packed with holiday goodness!
I had a lot of fun creating with this month’s kit. Here is the unboxing and card making video:
Let’s take a closer look at all of the cards.
The Fancy Holiday Cheer die and shadow layer is such a lovely greeting and perfect for so many holiday cards! This is such a simple design and would also be fun as a shaker card. Just replace the vellum with acetate and fill in with colorful sequins.
Next up, a card that I was about ready to ditch and not include in this video at all, but… a little extra sanding really brought the embossed details to life!
The next card was possibly my favorite of the bunch. SO simple, and I loved using a sticker for a greeting. If you’ve never tried inking a stamp to create a gradient, you should!
Next I went SUPER simple but look at how cute this turned out! Patterned paper with cut out card panels are so great for making cards.
Next, I wanted to use the snowflakes in the Making Spirits Bright stamp set. I fussy cut my greeting but there are coordinating dies available for this stamp set.
And last but not least, this card… I’m not really sure what I was thinking, but it’s kind of funky in the end. This, too, would have been a fun idea for a shaker card.
