I’m unboxing the April 2024 Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp and creative five cards

It’s kit unboxing day! Today I’m sharing the April 2024 Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp called Wild & Free Flowers! This kit is packed with floral goodness and I had a lot of crafty fun with the namesake stamp set.

Let’s jump right into the unboxing and card makes:

Let’s take a closer look at each card.

I started out SUPER simply with just a stamped and embossed image and greeting. You do not have to pull out all the stops to make a lovely card.

For Card Two, I wanted to get into the gorgeous stash of American Crafts Dreamer Paper, along with a bit more of that lovely gold embossing. How cute are those little tickets, too?

For Card Three, not only did I decide to pull colors in the cool blues and lavender tones, but I wanted to test out the Floating Flowers Embossing folder from the kit. A simple greeting embossed on a vellum belly band and some Pawsitively Dazzling Gems in Surf (coming in the next Simon Says Stamp release on March 21!) finished out the card.

For Card Four, the ink smooshing made for such a dreamy background! And again, that large bloom from the stamp set looks so elegant on this design.

And last but not least, for Card Five, I used more papers from the kit and did a wee bit of fussy cutting using the scissors that are also part of this month’s kit.
