Let’s unbox the October 2024 Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp!

Today I’m unboxing the October 2024 Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp and making five cards that have a very definitely vibe (and I love it!) Let’s start with the video:

This is a really wonderful kit! Here is a look at the contents:

I love when all of the cards have a very cohesive feel, so let’s take a closer look. First, card one, which was a very simple design and SO easy to create. You could do this design in any color and it’s so peaceful and serene.

For card two, I took advantage of the Two Step Simple Leaves Stencil to add my colors.

Plus, look at that lovely texture created with the Fluted Forest Decor Embossing Folder.

For card three, I played with the gorgeous rub-ons from Craft Consortium. They literally look like they were printed on the cardstock. Rub-ons have a come a long way!

For card four, I played with the Stamperia rice paper, a first for me as a crafter! And with a bit of trial and error on the image, as you saw in the video, I really love how elegant this card is with all the open space.

It’s more than okay to have a wide border on any card design. There is lots of the rice paper in the kit to play with and the sheets are 8.25 x 11.75!

The final card is a 5 x 7 and I really love how this came together. Creating your own pattern is SO easy to do with stamp builder sets, like the one in the kit.

The colors are so lovely together and a small simple greeting works really well with the design.
