Cathy Makes a Card Live—the giveaway post

If you’d like to be entered for a chance to win the card from today’s livestream (May 28, 2025), just leave a comment below! I’ll choose a winner at random by next week’s live.

All supplies for this week’s livestream will be listed at the bottom of this post. In the meantime, check out the live (or replay) here:

And yes, I added the bricks once it was over. I felt it DID need something, and it just took me a while to get there!

And I love the little extra detail the CZ Design Wood Plank gave the pieces!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Your card is so cute this week. Those color cards look like they would take a person out of their comfort zone. Such a great idea.

Loved the card. I think you need either a brick embossing folder or stencil for the card base. The random bricks didn’t do it for me.

  31. Diana Hults says

To brick or not to brick. What a dilemma. I liked it with. I think I would burnish the edges with some sort of color. Loved this card so much. We have two homes in our neighborhood that ar up for sale. I always send a “welcome” to the neighborhood card, So this will be perfect. And the great thing is I have the stamps and dies for the “Welcome” set!

I am so glad I found you! I love your cards, and although I’ve been crafting for many years, you always seem to show me new ways to use some of the supplies I already have in a different way while also enlightening me about the new products out there. For example, the snake plant stamp…I just have have it!!! Another example, I just purchased your Happy, Happy, Halloween die from Simon Says Stamp. I have lots of Halloween dies but not that one!! Thank you, Cathy!
