So glad you chose the Tree of Tales die. I have many friends and family who love to read, but it is my granddaughter that is also a collector of books. The best gift to give her is a gift card to a bookstore-especially when they have a big sale! This would be a perfect card for her and I love the colors you choose for both of your cards.

Books and Christmas, two of my favorite things. The red card really pops but I’m partial to the blue one. Makes me think of a snowy winter day, The kind of day that’s perfect for curling up and reading a good book.

  79. Bonnie D. says

I haven’t yet watched the Youtube video of your making this card (but I’m gonna!), so I don’t know the color of the blue paper you used as a background. I usually love a soft neutral color as a background but have to say that the red (with splatter) just MAKES this complete. The background, the gold on red sentiment, the colorful books – I mean, come on! How could you improve on that?
