Make a fun divided shaker card! I’ll share my tips!

Welcome to Day 2 of the blog hops to celebrate the new And Everything Nice release from Simon Says Stamp. Today I’m featuring my new Tree Plate die and my Holiday Trio 1 die set to make this fun card.

    Excellent cover die! One of the best parts is getting two-for-one projects from it.
    Love your shaker card (those iridescent dots are a must have… can’t wait til they come back in stock), and also the second with all those lovely blue trees.

    I love shaker cards! Thank you for the tips on blending first then die cutting. Two for one cards are the best!

    This tree die plate is perfect! I’m so excited to get this and create. The benefit of being able to create two different versions with one die is a big plus. The shaker card is lovely and fun. The white did make these trees pop! Then using the remaining cut out trees on another card in blue and white looked so elegant. Stunning cards!

    Cathy Z I LOVE your new Tree Plate die, it’s awesome and the fact that it’s a multi purpose die makes it all the better. While I really like the idea of using it to make a shaker card I especially love your card using just the cut out tree pieces. My mind sees it to be like baking the leftover pie crust sprinkled with Cinnamon & Sugar, you get something so good out of the leftover pie crust, and for me personally the cut out trees are fabulous on their own card. The Audrey Blue trees against the crisp white card base made for a beautiful card, it is my personal favorite of the two & the bonus is that the die cuts ALL of the trees in one go, what a time saver and the fact that it’s a two for one product is the star on top of the tree.
