Welcome to my unboxing and card making video for the May 2026 Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp, Long Stem Florals. Here is what’s in the kit:

It’s a little modern AND a little vintage. Let’s get into the video first:

Now let’s take a closer look at each card.

Card 1 felt very much like a me kind of card! I love how the drawers lined up, and the little bit of pink floral and the butterfly were designed so nicely. Sometimes your patterned papers just hand you a perfect design with little to do other than cut and paste.

I adore the Long Stem Floral stamps and coordinating stencil in this month’s kit. (And there are coordinating dies you can get as an add-on!) They are SO simple to use.

For Card 3, I wanted to use the rest of that patterned paper from Card 1 for this fun look. A few more techniques, but still a very simple design!

For Card 4, these frames just make a picture perfect scene. It’s a bit vintage, but also very minimal. And possibly a tiny bit heavy! Lol.

It was fun to use something I don’t usually create with!

For Card 5, which might be my favorite today, I clustered three rub-ons and topped with a greeting, a flower and some black pearls. When in doubt with rub-ons, look for ways to layer them

And for my bonus card, I wanted to work in the Squoval Tag Dies from the kit!
