The October 2026 Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp is here and today I’m sharing my latest unboxing and card making video. The kit is called Homespun Gratitude, and I really loved working with these products.

My little homage to Bella’s truck from Twilight! But as I said in the video, thicker stroke lines really do make for easier coloring! And coloring clear gems with alcohol markers really is a fabulous little trick to make them match any project.
Next up, something a bit different for me: sanding off the top layer of a metallic cardstock. But dang, it’s really cool looking!
For Card Three, I went in more of a graphic direction and I love the finished grid design of this card. The dies from this kit are going to be finding a good home in my stash this fall!
I really wanted to show different ways to use the stamp set from the kit that didn’t require any special coloring skills. This card is such an easy way to add color behind a black ink stamp for a cool look.
And for the final card, I was determined to work in one of the tags and this turned out really cute! Again, leaving images uncolored can be really cool looking on a card, especially when you have color blocking behind it.
